Any places / pubs etc, you know stopped doing LIVE music?

Postby Trevor George on Thu Mar 20, 2008 9:33 am

Just wondering if anyone knows of any places / pubs etc, that have stopped doing live music because of the new licensing laws relating to live performances in clubs, pubs or other venues.

I need to pass the information onto a guy from the Musicians Union, so they can put pressure on the "relevant Government Departments" hoping to relax or change the current restrictions.

I do know of one definite pub which no longer does live music as a result of the new laws, but would like to know of more establishments.

Either reply here .... or reply in confidence to live@open-mic.me.uk

Thanks ..... Trevor :)

Don't know about that Trevor. But I do know it's becoming harder and harder to find gigs...
