DATE CHANGE
Bath: Bath FC Singers Group, Widcombe Social Club, Widcombe Hill BA2 6AA: 8pm – 10pm.
“The Bath Folk Club Singers Group will have a date change this month. It is normally scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday of every month but this month it will actually take place on the 23rd of September.”

ACORN BACK TO NORMAL
“THE ACORN FOLK CLUB had to temporarily move venue for the opening of the Eighth Season on 5th September, but everything is back to normal now, and all ACORN FOLK CLUB meetings will be on the First Saturday of each month at The Old Ship Aground, Quay Street, Minehead. www.acornfolkclub.co.uk for full details of programme.”

CYCLING FOR CANCER
Peter Abbott (of Folk in the Vale) has been doing sponsored static bike rides at acoustic and folk venues to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. He has raised £811 so far and has asked me to thank everybody on his behalf for their support. Peter will be riding at Queen Camel on the 24th September and at the Exchange, Sturminster Newton on the 28th.
